Plans and coordinates administrative and business activities for Clemson University Outdoor Lab. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
35% – Essential – Administrative Support:
Plans, coordinates and supports administrative activities. Serves as Business Office Manager. Coordinates business activities related to both summer programs and conference center operations including procurement and personnel processes.
25% – Essential – Fiscal Management:
Develops annual budgets for camp operations and fiscal year planning in conjunction with CU processes. Coordinates with sponsors to set budgets. Prepares and generates reports. Provides monthly budget reports to supervisor to include, but not limited to revenues, expenses, endowments.
20% – Essential – Food Service Management:
Liaises between Outdoor Lab and outsourced food service operation ensuring consistent quality, maximum value and profitability of operation. Handles guest services, food service and daily operations. Ensures timely payments and receipts based on contract terms.
20% – Essential – Camp and Program Support:
Plans and coordinates camper recruitment, registration and payments for Jaycee Camp Hope and other OL camps and programs as assigned. Market programs through appropriate means, sometime in person. Host online registration, communicate with parents/caregivers and serve as camp registrar for onsite sessions as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education – High School or Equivalent – and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services
1-3 years of relevant experience

Due to the location in the Clemson Forest, wildlife is abundant.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hrs: 37.5; Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with some flexibility for events; Band: 05 (expected pay range $37,860-$50,500).

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
