Position, Department: Coordinator of Student Life, Student Success & Engagement
Type of Position: Full-time Hourly, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $19.97 – $24.96 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Coordinator of Student Life is a part of the Center for Student Involvement team, within the Student Life Department. The Coordinator is responsible for the leadership and supervision of Student Life Student Staff, operation of the Student Lounge and student engagement spaces, coordination of student events and programming, co-advisement of Student Senate, and support of Student Life and campus student initiatives.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
Experience in higher education student leadership
Experience in co-curricular programming at the collegiate level
Experience working with student organizations
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Ability to successfully move a diverse team in a positive working direction
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of the Center of Student Involvement and Student Life teams
Ability to pivot from detail-oriented projects to building professional relationships with students and coworkers
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate confidently in group and one on one settings
Some travel, including occasional evening/weekend activities
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree
1-3 years supervisory experience
Budget management experience
Experience developing and mentoring student staff
Experience with student success data management tools (AccuCampus or Campus Labs)
