The Human Resources Generalist provides daily HR support to the facility in compliance with all federal state and local regulations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a business partner to assigned client group.
• Consult with supervisors and managers on employee relations issues.
• Assists employees in resolving concerns.
• Manages hourly performance reviews.
• Assists Talent Aquisition team as necessary.
• Attends various career and job fairs.
• Participates in new hire orientation.
• Administers training programs for client group as needed.
• Coordinates and conducts employee meetings and events as required.
• Participates in the development, interpretation and communication of human resources items
• Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local laws
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong employee relations background with proven experience managing conflict
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and ad-hoc requests
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Detail oriented and organized with strong ability to see projects to completion.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
