The University of Washington Community Standards and Student Conduct Office has an outstanding opportunity for a Conduct
Specialist. The Conduct Specialist has responsibility for investigating and adjudicating alleged violations of the Student
Conduct Code, which occurs both on and off campus. The Conduct Specialist will adjudicate both academic and behavioral misconduct. This
includes determining appropriate educational sanctions for students found responsible for violating the Student Conduct Code.The Conduct
Specialist will also have a collateral assignment in one or more functional areas. These areas include, but are not limited to: coordinating
the department’s efforts to be proactive about international students’ success; development and assessment of learning outcomes;
coordination of outreach efforts; and/or development of marketing and communication strategies.This position requires knowledge of the
trends in the field of student conduct along with knowledge of student development theory and practice, as applied to student conduct
administration. This position interacts with a variety of campus partners including faculty, staff and students. Requires a high level of
computer competency as well as interpersonal skills. Must be able to manage competing tasks and prioritize work.
