Major Gifts & Annual Giving Director
Montgomery College has an immediate need for a full-time Major
Gifts & Annual Giving Director in the office of Foundation and Development. The work schedule is 5 days/40 hours a week. This
is a Non-Bargaining, Exempt, grade 31 position. Montgomery College promotes and creates a working and learning environment rooted in the
basic tenets of fairness, diversity, and inclusiveness. This position is eligible for telework up to two (2) days per week after successful
completion of initial employment probationary period.
The Major Gifts & Annual Giving Director is responsible for leadership in
designing annual giving strategy, implementing leadership annual giving, supervising one annual giving associate and raising $800,000 – $1
million per fiscal year in Annual Gifts – many gifts coming in from other development officers as well as direct mail and other
efforts – (in addition to another $500,000 – $1 million from $25k+ major gifts. Annual goal may be adjusted due to extenuating circumstances
such as the economy but will be established prior to the start of each FY by the VP for Advancement and Director of Development).

Salary Range: $76,679 – $99,671 annually. Initial salary placement is based on candidate experience and
