Position Summary
The Web Specialist (WS) will work under the supervision of the Web & Digital Experience Manager and is responsible for deploying web engagement technologies in support of university marketing and communications efforts. The position is expected to take on complex web projects with a high level of autonomy and will be responsible for the active maintenance and improvement of a select set of websites within the Universitys content management system (Drupal) as well as providing customer service, consultation and insights as a subject matter expert on an as needed basis.
The Web Specialist will often need to anticipate the needs of projects/initiatives and the department, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and show proactive leadership in planning to meet specified goals and deadlines designed to improve the effectiveness of the Universitys primary marketing tool-its website. The WS will need to be skilled in creating opportunities for collaboration and working with others to accomplish an objective, open to supporting additional digital marketing tools as needed/related to assigned areas, and have clear understanding of how web and other digital marketing tools fit into an integrated marketing and communications plan.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 9.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
