The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting the Sr. Human Resources Manager to meet the needs of the different departments within Spacelabs. The position is a key contributor of the human resources team and will coordinate the strategies and programs related to all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition and retention, professional development, leave management, legal compliance, training, wellness events, employee engagement initiatives, and administrative duties. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, while preparing, maintaining, disseminating, and handling confidential information. The Human Resources Generalist must also be knowledgeable of and comply with federal and state employment regulations.
***This position is hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Snoqualmie and 2 days per week telecommute. You must be flexible on the days worked onsite and coordinate with team. There will be times when all on-site might be needed due to special projects.***
Responsibilities
- Serves as a partner, resource and first point of contact for all Spacelabs managers and employees.
- Supports, maintains, and ensures HRIS and timekeeping systems are accurate. Including timely data entry of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and all other personnel changes into various HR systems (Employee Central/Success Factors), iCIMS (applicant tracking system).
- Prepare for new hires. Communicate with new hires regarding Day 1 expectations and manage new hire orientation, onboarding, and documentation.
- Coordinate company service and recognition award program; ensure timely ordering and distribution of certificate, award, and gift card.
- Assist and administer effective programs spanning the breadth of the HR function including talent and performance management, change management, leave management, recruiting, total rewards, training and development, and special projects across department and functional lines.
- Execute solutions to problems which require the regular use of ingenuity, innovation, and active problem solving.
- Maintain all employee files.
- Support offboarding activities in partnership with HR team.
- Understands the effect of new laws or administrative regulations on human resources programs and assists in the design of procedures and forms for policy implementation.
- Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong ability to analyze, evaluate and actively problem solve.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Proficient with MS Office application, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will include being onsite in our Snoqualmie, WA office.
