Position Summary
DU is seeking an independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual with experience in process development, implementation, and oversight; knowledge/contract/workflow management systems implementation and oversight; and legal administration and/or office management within a law firm or higher education administration context. The IP Operations Specialist will report directly to the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (OIPTT) Manager and will be an integral member of OIPTTs growing team. This position will work closely with both OIPTT and divisional team members, as well as faculty, staff, and students throughout DU.

University operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. This position is half-time for 20 hours per week with full benefits. Remote work and telecommuting options as well as flexible hours are available.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 11.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $34.23 – $39.34.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
