The Department of Facilities Management supports the mission of the University of Denver’s physical resources in order to provide a healthy and safe educational environment for the campus community through services of the departments of Capital Projects and Planning, Facilities Management, Parking & Mobility Services, Auxiliaries & Real Estate, and Business & Operations.
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Auxiliary Facility Operations within the Department of Facilities Management and Planning, and in close coordination with various University Event Managers: the incumbent, plans, organizes, and supervises the functions of Housing Maintenance to ensure the proper, safe, and reliable operation of the work within established budgetary resources and appropriate time schedules.

Working Environment
While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, in highly precarious places, and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, chemical exposure, confined spaces, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Activities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to lift more than 100 lbs. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule
The Universitys administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Work schedule may vary.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is 12.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $35.00 – $45.00.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
