DIRECTOR – WORK-BASED EDUCATION / LEARNING
MALCOLM X COLLEGE
Malcolm X College is seeking a
Director – Work-Based Education / Learning. Reporting to Dean of Health Sciences or Dean of the School of Nursing, the Director – Work Based
Education/Learning serves as an integral part of the Health Sciences Department or School of Nursing, supporting the development and
expansion of healthcare system partnerships to support all work-based learning components of health science and nursing programs to include
clinical settings, work-based learning, and apprenticeships. Supervises and directs a staff of Coordinators – Work Based Learning and
support staff.
The Director – Work Based Education/Learning works with key stakeholders in the initiation, development, and
maintenance of clinical affiliation agreements and expansion of clinical capacity; conducts assessments of programs’ work-based
learning/education components for quality improvement; and serves as a liaison with the Department of Labor in support of on-going
development and growth of apprenticeships. Performs related duties as required.
