BIOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
Full-time, 9-month Benefited Position
JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking an instructor to teach biology courses to
undergraduate students in A.S. and A.A.S. degree programs. Advising students, curriculum development, outcomes assessment, institutional
committee work, program promotion, distance delivery of coursework, and community service and outreach are inherent to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in biology or closely related
discipline.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Master’s degree in biology or closely related field,
two or more years of teaching experience, and experience with a Learning Management System.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history background investigation prior to employment.
SALARY: $45,000-$50,000, based on degree and experience. Fully paid family health insurance, basic life
insurance, retirement, employee tuition waiver, and more.
CLOSING DATE: Screening will begin September 29th and
position will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
