Job Description:
Under the leadership of the Associate Dean for Medical Education, the Director of Evaluation and Assessment, the Director of Biomedical Education, and the Program Manager, Evaluation & Assessment and in collaboration with the Academic Program Directors, the Education Program Specialist 2, Evaluation & Assessment, provides administrative oversight of medical student assessments in Part Two (Year 3) and Part Three (Year 4) of the LSI curriculum.Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining and deploying all assessments in LSI Part 2 and Part 3, including quizzes, midterms, practicals, NBME exams, etc.; organizing exam dates, assessment weeks, room scheduling, and providing proctoring; documenting and providing required student accommodations; creating and maintaining assessments in test management software and providing grade data and any relevant test item review; tracking student progress throughout Part 2 and Part 3 by maintaining scorebooks and other relevant assessment information; inputting grades by the deadline; working with college staff to gather all relevant information; updating student records promptly, including status changes, committee updates, etc.; partnering with program leadership to develop best practices and implement quality improvement measures regarding the delivery of student assessments at the College; triaging and resolving routine issues independently and, when appropriate, partnering with program leadership to address novel Part 2 and Part 3 assessment issues.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization or equivalent experience is required.

Two years of relevant experience.
Requires successful completion of a background check.
Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in, or a strong interest in, medical education, health professions education, or higher education planning and administration.
Work effectively in a large complex administrative structure, with the ability to work cross-functionally to solve routine and novel problems.
Able to maintain confidentiality and abide by FERPA laws.
Works collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, and faculty.
Excellent interpersonal and written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing information in web-based software applications.
Knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and data management desired.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to learn new software quickly and to use technology to improve processes.
Detail and goal-oriented.
Ability to motivate self and others.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task and complete work in required timeline.
