Job Purpose: The Department Chair, in
collaboration with the Dean of Learning and Instruction, ensures the workforce relevancy, quality, and continuous improvement of
Calbright’s Technology Programs.
Location: Remote, various locations throughout California
Salary Range: Faculty salary schedule placement (depending on qualification and education) + 15% $90,329.05 –
$124,486.35

Position
Overview
The Department Chair position supports Calbright College’s mission of offering competency-based programs for
the adult learner through high-impact andrological practices in online, skills-based curriculum and assessment. The Department Chair,
in collaboration with the Dean of Learning and Instruction, ensures the workforce relevancy, quality, and continuous improvement of
Technology Programs. The Department Chair will provide domain-level leadership to cross-functional faculty teams, have in-depth knowledge of
workforce related outcomes, and be responsible for student success and program performance outcomes.
The Department Chair must be
skillful in understanding industry needs, skill-based curriculum planning and analysis, faculty development, data gathering and reporting,
and developing internal and external relationships. The Department Chair will work with cross-functional leadership to help establish
operational objectives and to positively impact student outcomes, program quality, and enrollment growth within the discipline programs.
