JOB SUMMARY:
The Petroleum Technology & Automation Instructor position is a full-time
position. It is first and foremost a teaching position. In addition to direct instruction, this individual must be willing and able to
develop and deliver curriculum and training and serve as the content specialist and leader in all aspects of Petroleum Technology, Lease
Operator, Industrial Automation & Controls Systems, and related programs. The ideal candidate is committed to the growth of these
programs and associated training, so they become a program destination and training hub for the oil/gas and supporting industry.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training
or experience in Petroleum Production Technology, Petroleum Engineering, Automation and Instrumentation or related field and 3 months
experience as Instructor, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Graduate Research Assistant, Industry Trainer or related occupation. The required
experience is 3 months of full-time equivalent teaching experience at the college or university level or as an industry trainer or in a
related occupation.
SALARY: To be determined.
