 Reliable Tax Service, Inc. in Quincy, MA is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant (Ref# SA0322). 

Job duties:
To Individual Clients:

• Provide tax preparation and consulting to individuals, resident aliens focusing on their overseas company and foreign income, as well as new investors and immigrants from various countries;
•  Help clients (new investment immigrants) understand the differences between foreign countries’ accounting and tax regulations and U.S. accounting and tax regulations; 

To Business Clients:

• Prepare income tax returns and annual reports for corporations (including C corporation, S corporation, Partnerships and other business entities);
• Proficiently using QuickBooks and Microsoft to Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy, completeness and compliance with law, regulation and accounting standards;
• Focus tax consulting with small business owners on their understanding of tax regulations and accounting issues;
• Review and prepare monthly & quarterly tax estimates, tax income and expense adjustments;
• Review, prepare, and maintain federal, state, and local tax calendar for business clients;
• Responsible for Account balancing for SUI, FUTA, FICA and SIT;
• Establish and maintain excellent communication with tax agency staff at local, state, and federal levels;
• Perform full payroll tax return preparation (941, FUTA, SUTA, State Wage Report, etc.);
• Maintain and prepare schedules for financial statement reports including reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and bank statement.

Both Business and Individual:

• Prepare correspondence to address tax notices and other communications received from clients and tax agencies to resolve outstanding issues;
• Comply with federal, state and local tax requirements by studying existing regulations; maintain knowledge of tax requirements by studying new tax regulations, directives and proposed tax legislation;
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

• Master’s degree in Accounting or concentration in Accounting.
