The Office of Assessment and Evaluation supports institutional effectiveness through consultation with faculty, staff, and community partnerships. The office works on the development of instruments and experimental designs informed by standard principles of measurement, assessment, and evaluation, including classroom tests, faculty and staff evaluation formats, and academic program development and evaluation. The Year 3 & 4 unit within the Office of Assessment and Evaluation, is responsible for coordinating and supporting the development and delivery of curriculum evaluation and student assessment processes. This position will liaise with other departmental units regarding best practices and processes for student evaluation of curriculum, and assessment of student behavioral performance and progression.

In this fast-paced, dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to take initiative on tasks or projects assigned up to completion or the deadline. You can expect a monthly team meeting to check-in on current initiatives, work load, and connecting as a department. You will also have frequent touch base calls with leaders to support your roles’ development and provide feedback to improve processes.

This position does offer a hybrid work schedule, with an opportunity to work remotely throughout the work week.

• Build and review all Year 3 & 4 session evaluation packages within One45, and monitor and communicate with clinical team for accuracy.
• Employ a variety of analysis techniques and software tools to conduct robust analyses.
• Review all evaluations for quality control and communicate with students to ensure timely response. Maintain confidential review of evaluation data and provide summary based on policy and compliance objectives.
• Provide accurate records and summary of compliance goals and analyze effectiveness of process for quality improvement.
• Implements assessments and evaluations, including data management, data collection, analyses, reporting, writing and presentations.
• Creates and manages datasets; transforms data for research/assessment needs.
• Review and process Faculty data and provide quality control and timely updates.
• Maintain professional communications with all internal and external resources to facilitate program objectives. Maintain and update list of clinical contacts and communicate changes to relevant departments.
• Performs administrative/project management functions:
• Develop and schedule program work plan, oversee daily operations, and determine priorities for the Year 3 & 4 unit assessments and evaluations.
• Provide support to all Faculty regarding software and login access, coordinate filing all forms in electronic format, and record data in accurate and timely manner. Troubleshoot software and application issues.
• Coordinate timely release of all assessment and evaluation forms for Year 3 & 4 clerkships, elective, and selective rotations. Ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Develop due date calendar and communicate with clinical staff and partners to meet compliance deadlines. Update and maintain accurate records.
• Reviews all program/assessment and evaluation forms and progress reports before dissemination.
• Evaluates program effectiveness to develop improved methods.
• Serve as a resource member on department or university committees.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge and understanding of diversity and an ability to work with a wide variety of people.

• Strong skills with grammar, composition, and proofreading.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfort initiating communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced ability with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience is required.
