Description:
The college’s Bates Center is a vibrant initiative offering a popular academic minor in entrepreneurship alongside a growing number of co-curricular programs. We push our students – drawn from the social sciences, arts and humanities, and mathematical and natural sciences – to leverage their critical thinking, analytical abilities, and communication skills to create and test impact-based solutions for the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. The successful applicant will join a supportive, creative leadership team committed to a liberal arts-inspired program built on four strategic pillars: entrepreneurial mindset, skill sets, experiential learning, and networking. We encourage students to major in what they love, yet graduate with the toolkit and network they need to advocate for themselves and others.
If you share this vision for liberal arts and entrepreneurship and are excited to teach, mentor and launch smart, curious, and promising students, we want to talk with you. We encourage diverse applicants to apply, as well as anyone with applicable life experiences, including their own entrepreneurial endeavors.
