The Research Program Assistant provides administrative support within the CAFÉ Research Coordinating Center (RCC). The Program Assistant works with program manager to develop, implement, and utilize systems for tracking all center productivity including work produced by affiliated faculty and students, center-led initiatives (e.g., funding outcomes of projects awarded pilot grants) and events (e.g., attendance at the annual meeting of the community of practice). The Program Assistant is responsible for logistics for all center-related activities including meeting planning, agenda writing, confirming meeting locations, securing speakers, preparing and submitting expenses for reimbursement, and management and planning of event preparation and day of event activities. The Program Assistant aids with written reports, filing of all paperwork to meet reporting requirements to NIH, etc. The Research Program Assistant provides additional administrative support at the discretion of the Center co-leads.
The Research Program Assistant will support multiple aspects of the RCC, emphasizing assistance with the data landscape analysis under the Data Management Function, the systematic literature review under the Resources Function, planning of the annual meeting and other events under the Administrative Function, and administration of the pilot grants program under the Capacity Building Function. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed to support the smooth operation of the CAFÉ and timely progress of functions.
