Allegheny College, a selective national liberal arts college, and the Department of World Languages & Cultures invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of French beginning August 2023.
A one-semester initial appointment with the possibility of an extension to the full year depending on departmental need. Area of specialization is open; ideal candidates will have experience and success in teaching French at the beginning and intermediate levels and the ability to offer upper-level course(s) in their area of specialization, native or near-native fluency in French and English and MA required, Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred. Teaching load is 3 courses.
