This is a full – time, day shift position. The hours of work are generally Monday – Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Days of work and hours can vary due to assigned cases. The person hired for this position will have an office in Faribault, Minnesota. Alternate work sites may also be considered. Upon hire employees will be required to complete a telework agreement.
The Community Support Services Southeast Mobile team provides services and requires frequent travel in the following counties: Nicollet, LeSueur, Rice, Goodhue, Wabasha, Blue Earth, Waseca, Steele, Dodge, Olmsted, Winona, Faribault, Freeborn Mower, Fillmore, & Houston. When a State-owned vehicle is not available and an employee is required to use their personal automobile to conduct authorized State business, the employee will be reimbursed at the current Federal IRS mileage reimbursement rate. The Positive Support or Behavioral Health Consultant will have the opportunity to help people live better lives, work with a variety of community providers, and work with a great Community Support Services team.
Given the integrated nature of Community Support Services work, the Positive Support or Behavioral Health Consultant demonstrates expertise in behavioral assessment and interventions with consultation as needed from colleagues with complementary expertise. As a bridge connecting providers together in the best interest of the individual, the Positive Support or Behavioral Health Consultant integrates multidisciplinary expertise to facilitate positive outcomes for individuals and their support networks. In each of these interactions, the Positive Support or Behavioral Health Consultant strongly impacts the quality of individuals’ lives and successful community living.
