Associate Director for Student Wellness and Support Services (LA Campus)

Reporting to the ELA Assistant Dean of Students, the Associate Director for Student Wellness and Support Services will provide holistic and wrap-around service, support and communication to the students of Emerson College Los Angeles by seamlessly managing all student concerns and support services to ensure their success prior to and while enrolled in the program. The role works closely with colleagues from the ELA and Boston campuses to provide support and case management to all Emerson Los Angeles participants and to provide a seamless and supportive process as students transition through the various phases of their program preparation through the duration of their time in the program. The Associate Director will enhance the mission of ELA by promoting wellness and access to appropriate services and resources, internally and externally, in order to alleviate possible barriers to student’s success. Associate Director will collaborate with ELA and Boston staff to provide wellness programming and initiatives and liaise with campus offices and services to share resources and referrals, including, but not limited to, Counseling and Psychological Services, Student Accessibility Services, Internationalization and Global Engagement, Student Success, Enrollment Management, Student Accounts, Academic Advising, and Financial Aid. The position provides non-clinical support to students in crisis or distress related to medical and psychological concerns, life traumas, or other events or hindrances that may limit a student’s success.

COMPENSATION
Starting salary for this position will be between $ 68,691 – $ 84,146 annually, commensurate with experience.
This is an in office position at the Emerson Los Angeles campus. Evening and weekend work hours will be required for this position.
Grade of Position: 23-09E
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.25
