Both the philosophy and religious studies programs have honors options. We offer an impressive array of undergraduate minors: philosophy; religious studies; cognitive science; ethics; health, medicine, and human values; and logic and methodology. The Department also offers a graduate minor in cognitive science and our faculty teach some seminars in the College’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS), a highly successful interdisciplinary program in which students can design concentrations related to philosophy and/or religious studies.
The Department’s programs develop critical, creative, and independent thinking skills that lead to excellence in graduate studies, professional training, and a broad variety of careers.
