Sociology & Gerontology: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor (multiple positions) to teach courses in Social Justice and Sociology. These positions are non-tenure track. The Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor will be focused broadly in sociology and social justice and fill specific needs across these programs. Successful applicants will teach such courses as Race & Ethnic Relations, Sociology of Gender, Research Methods, Social Problems, Social Forces & Aging, as well as introductory courses in sociology and/or social justice. Additional courses may be assigned.
Required: Ph.D. in Sociology by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor or a Master’s Degree in Sociology by date of appointment for appointment as an Instructor and demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching.
