$16.52 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs entry-level technical work managing the County’s electronic employment application system, processing newly hired employees and related documents, assisting customers, and performing standard and specific office practices relevant to accomplishing the Human Resources mission.
REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of progressively responsible clerical and/or customer service experience, including one (1) year in a Human Resources office; OR two (2) years of clerical and/or technical experience in a Human Resources office. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience in a local government human resources office is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass the Brevard County typing test at 35 correct words per minute. Must successfully complete, within six (6) months of employment, the Brevard County SuccessFactors training. Must successfully complete, within nine (9) months of employment, the Brevard County SAP PTMW Timekeeping class. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
