Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Director, Creative Content & Social Media the Creative Content Producer will create and implement the strategic plan related to the Athletic department’s multimedia initiatives, focusing on recruiting student-athletes and content creation through photo, video, and graphic design. Incumbent must possess the ability to adhere to and comply with department’s identity and branding guidelines and enhance its identity as well as follow all university, NCAA, and Pac-12 rules and regulations including Pac-12 media rights. Position will work with department staff and programs to utilize content created (graphics, photo, video, etc.) in various forms of social media. New content is to be used as recruiting materials, brochures, mail-outs, and other general correspondence. Incumbent will follow established department and campus style guide parameters and oversee strategy and the creation of content for various sports accounts across Twitter, Instagram and other potential emerging social channels. Position may also work various events and sporting events as needed and skill set will be expanded upon to help grow for future opportunities. Position will have the ability to work within a team and accept feedback to better product for shared mission and goals.
Special Instructions:
This is a full-time, contract position with a targeted salary of $67,100.00/year with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan.
