We’re actively seeking a talented Organizational Change Management practitioner to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. Preference is for this role to be based in Newport Beach (hybrid work schedule) but we will consider 100% remote for the right candidate.
As a Change Management Consultant, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by supporting our Finance, Risk and Actuarial organization.
This position will focus on both the people and organizational aspects of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. This role will assess, develop and implement change management strategies and plans that ready the organization by anticipating and minimizing employee resistance and business disruption, maximizing employee engagement and drive faster adoption, and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization.
How you will make an impact:
Identify potential people and business risks to change intent; identify anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
Identify cultural and organizational alignment risk points; recommend and implement strategies to ensure stronger strategic alignment and change sustainability
Develops a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change
Apply a structured methodology and develop actionable and targeted change management plans to engage stakeholders, customizing and scaling as appropriate based on feedback and assessments
Consult and coach sponsors and managers
Support communication efforts; adapt communication to the culture of the organization in consultation with Communications team and applicable HR Business Partners
Coordinate efforts with project resources and engage adjacent disciplines when/if appropriate
Identify and utilize networks of key influencers to adoption
Maintain confidentiality
Tech & Tools you’ll use:
MS productivity tools (i.e. MS SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint and Visio)
Smartsheet (change artifacts)
The experience you will bring:
6+ years of experience in Change Management, Project Management, HR, or Training & Development
4-year degree Communications, Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience
CCMP certification and/or Prosci certification (preferred)
Significant experience with large scale, complex organizational change efforts involving new leaders, roles, responsibilities and mindsets
Proven ability to coach and influence senior leaders to effective sponsor efforts

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$113,700.00 – $142,100.00 – $191,900.00
