The Bioengineering graduate program is seeking a reliable, organized, detailed-oriented individual who enjoys working with others. The Graduate Coordinator will help to manage multiple aspects of the graduate program.
Job Description
The Graduate Coordinator in Bioengineering will help to manage multiple aspects of the graduate program, including the complex admissions and recruitment process for the PHD program; enrichment and advising programs for graduate students; elements of events/class meeting series; and help to maintain the program website. In addition, assist with the Graduate Group appointment process, and provide administrative support for the Graduate Programs. Work closely with a diverse group of staff, faculty, and students on various aspects of program administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in higher education with professional/graduate education administration preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills. Candidates must enjoy working with others and have a strong service orientation. High level of independence, organization, attention to detail, flexibility, motivation, initiative and judgment are critical. Experience with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet & database software.
