General Summary:
Unum is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Digital Analytics team. In this role you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with the analytics enablement team, data engineering teams and change teams within the Digital Transformation organization to have data and insights accessible for driving product enhancements.
You will focus on opportunities to drive better experiences, increase conversions, understand customer segments and CLV, and share your findings with business partners and senior leadership. This individual will be a key contributor to the success of our digital analytics projects to help deliver a best-in-class reporting and analysis experience.

Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM Engineering, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
5 + years of experience working with online-offline data, building executive dashboards via visualizations tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Analysis and Storytelling
Experience leading program initiatives, influencing and shaping user experience through data and analytics, influencing the customers journey, channel performance, and ongoing results
Subject matter expert in Digital Analytics platforms like Google Analytics, GTM, Data Studio, Customer Data Platforms [CDP], Google Optimize, Full Story, etc.
Experience designing a holistic approach for marketing analytics analysis and reporting across any/all channels (digital or traditional) to deliver clear, concise, and reliable reporting on key activities to the marketing team and the organization’s leadership team
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Knowledge in JavaScript, jQuery, Angular & ReactJS frameworks is a plus
Proven track record of working with complex datasets, stitching of data across multiple data sources & data prepping/data cleansing
Strong verbal and visual communication skills to present and explain insights with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Strong experience with in-house data warehouses & Cloud based data warehouses
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Using strong business acumen to drive analytics strategy put forth by the leadership team
Build dashboards and reports in Google Analytics 360, Data Studio, Tableau to drive insights to product teams
Work on data prepping, cleansing & manipulation of data in cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Big Query and GCP
Use a variety of tools to extract and analyze data generated by online user activity and offline touchpoints such as call center data and CSAT data
Conduct moderate to complex data profiling and analysis to evaluate data sources to determine the best source for business information
Communicate insights and provide solutions
Manage Digital analytics project initiatives
Work with web development, data analytics and business teams
Understand the behavior and expectations of online/offline visitors
Manage and support Digital analytics maintenance efforts
Assist with the rollout of product releases
Assist with administration and support requests
Setup reporting dashboards in Tableau per business requirements

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$80,600.00-$153,200.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
