Timeframe: 52 weeks
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
Regular Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
Supervision Received: The Coordinator of Student Involvement reports to the Director of Student Activities, Involvement, and Leadership.
Supervision Exercised: The Coordinator of Student Involvement supervises student personnel.
Salary: $49,000-$51,000 (To commensurate with education and experience)
General Statement of Duties: Works directly with student leaders that are involved with the Student Government Association and with the University’s 70+ recognized student clubs and organizations that are open to all students to administer and implement student run events. Work with student leaders to develop and implement activities through managing and reviewing policies, procedures, contracts, and evaluations, and assessment of departmental learning outcomes with an understanding and appreciation of equity and inclusion and community outreach. Educate students in best practices for marketing their student leadership experiences. Assists with the New Student Orientation Program. This position includes night and weekend hours.

Salary:
For the majority of new employees, the minimum starting salary will apply. Specific salary for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining and state policies and procedures.
