Develop /adapt the OMT offer to the client current and future needs in alignment with our strategy
Update and lead the strategy for OMT on a go forward basis
Match the financial and talent goals for the OMT offer and team
Maintain exceptional level of research quality meeting client needs today and in the future.
Actively contribute to collaboration across OST to ensure optimal resource management and collective success through knowledge and best practice sharing
Actively contribute to the Commercial Leadership team to adjust pricing, triage of opportunities and Business development strategies
Lead by example, actively winning and delivering with key clients as required
Responsibilities
Sales generation, client satisfaction, offer development and deliver profitable growth.
Accountable for sales generation /making go no go decision on opportunities within the practice.
Responsible for OMT related business development in partnership with Client Partner team
Ensure team delivers excellence to clients consistently. Provide consulting to clients and ensure the projects provide best answer to client question.
Ensures projects are priced in line with our target net sales and profit.
Increase OMT awareness among clients through thought leadership content/communications.
Lead the OMT team to ensure business grows profitably in line with plan by delivering high quality, insightful research.
Establish sound commercial practices to drive profitable delivery of the projects whilst balancing efficient project management and quality research.
Contribution to One commercial Team
Through active participation in the Commercial Leadership team, contribute to collective success, strategy implementation and adaptation.
Manages effectively the OMT resources in the interest of the Commercial organization in a non-silo mindset. Must ensure High usability/chargeability of the team.
Works in close partnership with other commercial leaders on relevant project opportunities, pitches. Share best practice and suggest organization/production/process optimization.
Generate though leadership contents through external and internal actions (publications, congresses, communications) which contribute to elevate OMT reputation and awareness.
Provide leadership and develop talent.
Inspire and lead a team responsible for cultivating deep relationships with clients and delivering high-impact solutions.
Enhance problem solving culture within the team
Acquire and grow talent (associate directors, directors and senior directors) to create a passionate, cancer conversant team committed to success.
Ensures the team leads can oversee projects as per our standards (maximizing client impact while not being involved on the day to day client and project management)
Cultivate team growth, people growth, mentorship, and development responsibilities. Develop the team’s knowledge and coach them to deliver great client impact. Ensure all direct reports have objectives and development plans that support company strategy.
Responsible for the career development of the team, including recruitment and assignment on projects
Establish a team that is famous for good client relationships, and focusses on continuously improving client experience
Provide guidance and leadership to team members on developing good relationships.
Knowledge areas and experience:
Relevant experience in consulting, marketing and social and market research within the Pharma – Life Science
Cancer conversant required
Proven track record of sales generation, and running profitable projects
Significant and successful experience in business development proposals and pitches
High level of business/client understanding and insight
Proven track record of high client impact & satisfaction
Extensive experience in the acquisition, conception and execution of international customer projects
Experience in working closely with cross-functional teams
Experience in managing teams
Strong Marketing research and/or medical research knowledge
Strong knowledge of Oncology and Pharma Industry
Extensive experience in the successful implementation of corporate strategies in compliance with given goals or budgets
Track record of managing and developing high performing teams
Relevant, above-average university degree
Skills:
Fluency (verbal and written) in English essential
Cancer Conversant
Expert in chart based research
Confident sales/ negotiation/ persuasion skills with commercial orientation
Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and financial accountability

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $135,100 to $285,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Colorado Pay Range: from $127,600 to $256,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
New York City Pay Range: from $127,600 to $271,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Washington Pay Range: from $142,600 to $271,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
