The Human Resources team at FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, is looking for a collaborative, innovative, results-driven Senior HR Director to support the technology organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team of HR professionals striving to create an engaging, inclusive and dynamic work environment across our global organization. This role will be based in Manhattan, NY and reports to the Executive Director of HR.
This role will provide HR support to our clients for our US and UK engineering teams. Partnering with HR colleagues across multiple business units, you will help drive HR consultation and projects that span the employee life cycle while supporting diversity, equity and inclusion efforts for the region.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary HR contact and provide generalist support for the engineering leadership teams in the US and UK. Current headcount of ~350 employees.
Lead a HR Manager and create people related strategies and coordinate operationalizing and project execution, while leading change management initiatives.
Work closely with London and Beijing-based HR Business Partners and COE’s to align engineering people and culture strategies and drive implementation across US and UK teams.
Utilize data from multiple sources to identify trends and themes that affect and impact employee engagement.
Closely working with the engineering SLT and their respective teams and supporting them with promoting a growth mindset.
Manage all day-to-day HR responsibilities with timely follow up, including compensation planning, talent reviews, staffing, on and off-boarding, and performance management for client group.
Work with leaders and employees to establish and champion a positive, respectful work environment and act as an employee advocate.
Manage workforce planning process in partnership with key stakeholders.
Be an impactful contributor at key leadership meetings and provide HR input and strong business cases for strategic business projects and long-term planning and budgeting processes.
Lead the organizational change management process for respective client groups in response to business strategies.
Create and execute on Employee Survey action plans and engagement and communications activities throughout the US and UK engineering teams.
Personal Profile
Qualifications/Requirements
7+ years of human resources experience
Desire to roll up your sleeves and dig into details in a fast-paced, high action orientation environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven influencer, demonstrated ability to coach and counsel at all levels of the organization.
Experience working in matrixed organizations
Excellent communication at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to drive HR processes and projects, delivering high quality HR services in a fast paced, high change environment
Strong acumen in understanding key drivers of organizational health using data; and the ability to develop and deliver effective people and culture strategies that foster a highly engaged workforce.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Ability to establish trust and credibility with leaders and employees
Discreet with experience in operating with high levels of integrity and managing highly confidential information.
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with Workday preferred.
Position will support a team in NYC and will be required to be present in the Manhattan office 1-2 times per week.

Salary:
Pay Range: $166,869.41 – $250,304.12
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
