This position will provide supervisory support to the IT Department consisting of one reporting employee. This position will also provide onsite service and support needs relating to all technology, to include workstations, onsite/cloud servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.
On-site at our Puyallup, WA site
Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay Range: $30-$37/hr

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise IT staff to include interviewing, performance evaluations, one on ones, etc.
Set and maintain IT Department best practices and policies
Plan and provide direction to the IT Department services and infrastructure
Determine project priorities and oversee those requiring significant IT resources
Oversee timely patching and effective backup of all services
Remain up-to date on new and emerging technologies
Maintain a working knowledge of all systems to provide administrative support
Oversee availability, operation, and security of all IT maintained systems including VOIP
and SIP systems, network switches, routers, wireless APs, VPNs
Ensure IT security compliance
Interact with IT vendors and contractors
Highest level of integrity and work ethic
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Excellent verbal, written, analytical and project management skills
Attention to detail
Work professionally in stressful situations; maintain composure and sense of humor during heavy workload and constant interruptions
Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or related field
Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or A+ are preferred
Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in:
Must have 24/7 availability based on company need and for emergencies
Must have the ability to travel quickly to and between all Puyallup locations
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands for fine manipulation, grasping, or to feel objects, tools, or controls; is required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and use close vision, distance vision, and able to quickly adjust focus. The candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
