ABOUT THE ROLE
As Booking Holdings has entered its third decade, the organization is at an inflection point as to how HR can continue to enable the business in a more strategic, technology-enabled way. We are now looking for an HR thought leader that is driven to create an inclusive culture that fosters a collaborative, inspiring and high-performing work environment.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about HR, specifically, employee talent management, change management, organizational performance management, employee engagement, training, learning and development, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
The VP HR will directly manage a team of 6 and oversee Corporate HR Advisory, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition functions for our US organization (200 fte), in addition to having dotted line oversight of our HR teams in our Global Centers of Excellence (scaling up to 2000 fte in India and Romania) and Booking Holdings Financial Services (scaling to 200 fte in Ireland, the UK and the US).
This person thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They are energized by solving complicated puzzles and complex problems and excited to take on long-term, strategic and transformative initiatives/projects that have a broader, enterprise-wide impact. This person will also be comfortable working within a structure that is not fully defined, requiring high emotional intelligence and strong influencing skills, with a blend of intellectual curiosity and big-picture thinking.
This role will reside in Norwalk CT, and report to the SVP, HR.

She/he will be an engaged, action-oriented change agent with both a passion and track record for helping build great companies with strong cultures. She/he needs to be transformational in her/his thinking, low-ego and a team player who is passionate about enabling business success, while simultaneously demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills by improving the HR function’s effectiveness.
