JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: The purpose of the Director, Human Resources position is to administer policies relating to all phases of Human Resources and assist in the implementation of the overall HR strategy in support of short-term and long-term business goals. The Director, Human Resources identifies and provides information regarding the legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. She/he will directly support HR strategies and processes in the Omaha, NE facility, as well as partner with functional leaders throughout ZO Skin Health Inc. on projects and initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The employee must have strong oral and written communication skills in English and have intermediate math skills to calculate proportions, analyze data, trends and forecast budgets and employment needs. A Bachelor’s degree and/or Professional Human Resources certification is required. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources Manager or Sr. Human Resources Manager role is required. Previous experience in the logistics/warehousing industry as well as with an organization with a heavily remote workforce is a plus. Previous experience with an HRIS/HCMS is required. Must demonstrate proficiency with navigating ZO Skin Health’s HCMS within 90 days of hire. Must be comfortable with and able to navigate third party vendors’ databases and programs.
Work Environment: The work is typically indoors in an office environment but may also work in the field with outside sales and/or a warehouse environment.
Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. Domestic travel to and from ZO Skin Health Headquarters and field locations is required (20%). The position resides in Omaha but is hybrid with up to 2 days remote work.
Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, or negligible amounts of force frequently, to move objects. This job also requires constant sitting. Constant use of the upper extremities is required to reach, handle, and position tools and equipment. The employee must know and follow proper safety protocols, ZO Skin Health Inc.’s grooming, hygiene and dress code requirements; able to efficiently use Microsoft Office Programs and HR data systems to retrieve information, generate documents, organize travel schedules and coordinate meetings. The employee must also be able to maintain and preserve confidentiality of company and employee information, possess impulse control and frustration tolerance, and be able to manage time and multiple competing demands.
Supervisory Responsibilities: May oversee projects and/activities of HR Business Partner(s).
