Exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge Human Resources services organization in beautiful Northern Dutchess County, serving small and medium-sized businesses throughout the US. This is a full-time, in-person (not remote/virtual), Monday through Friday position within a growing organization with ample opportunity for advancement.
Overview of the position: This position combines technical understanding and use of the cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) system, sound application of HR practices, and a sharp focus on details to deliver excellent end-user experiences among business clients and their employees.
Duties Include:
· Implementation and set-up of client benefit and retirement plans.
· Ongoing changes for client and employee insurances and retirement plans, to include enrollments, changes and terminations, in a timely fashion to meet payroll deadlines.
· Assists clients/employees with benefit related questions.
· Enrollments, terminations, and changes on applicable carrier websites.
· Work with systems administrator to transition clients from existing software platform to new cloud-based platform.
· Assist clients and employees with new cloud-based platform navigation.
· Configure and implement cloud-based new hire onboarding and delivery of updated policy documents.
· Stay abreast on new technology features and work with clients to implement as necessary.
· Configure and implement online benefits enrollment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
· Associates degree required or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2-5 years of experience in HR administration, preferably the benefits arena.
· Working knowledge of health insurance plans, including plan designs, premiums, copays, deductibles, and renewals is preferred.
· Familiarity with employer-sponsored retirement plans.
· Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite of products at intermediate to advanced level.
· Strong technical skills. Must have ability to adapt to new software systems and comfortably navigate apps as needed.
· Demonstrated experience and familiarity with various software systems.
